
Portugal Cultural Investment Program
Overview
The Portugal Cultural Investment program allows investors to obtain Portuguese residency, and potentially citizenship, by contributing financially to projects that preserve and enhance Portugal's rich cultural legacy. Applicants are required to invest a minimum of €250,000 in projects that are approved by the Portuguese Ministry of Culture and can range from restoration of historic buildings to supporting cultural activities and artistic productions. At the end of the program, applicants are eligible to apply for Portuguese Permanent Residency, and/or Portuguese Citizenship

Up to 24 months for approval and issuance of residency card
Program Requirements
To apply for the Portugal Cultural Investment Program, applicants must:
Be a non-EU/EEA/Swiss national
Be at least 18 years old
Have no criminal record
Make and maintain a qualified investment for five years
Spend a minimum of 7 days in Portugal for the first year, then no less than 14 days for each subsequent two-year period
